The rumors are swirling about a possible Boulder location for a new Oskar Blues brewpub (although they are also looking at locales in Longmont, Fort Collins, and Denver). Turns out the old Boulder train depot (which was re-located in 2008 to its crurent location at 30th and Pearl) might be the perfect home for the next iteration of Oskar Blues’ growing repertoire of pubs that feature its popular line of craft beer. The brewery has been in the midst of rapid expansion over the past few years, and has recently added a distillery, food truck, mountain bike company, and farm to its core business of brewing. Apparently the powers that be at Oskar Blues will decide “within the next few weeks” where they will locate the new brewpub, so stay tuned for a final decision soon.
As a side note, EatDrinkBoulder officially endorses the choice for the Boulder location. (Thought we’d throw that out there, on the off-chance it will help sway the vote!).
