Remember that space on 13th street that has seen a seemingly endless string of restaurant-bar establishments come and go? Trilogy, Redfish, the Draft House, Las Oasis…now there’s a new incarnation about to spring up there, brought to you by the same ladies who owned and operated Trilogy wine bar.
The Emich triplets are planning on opening Shine Restaurant and Gathering Place in early December, which will be a place to eat, drink, and hang out. The huge space (6,500 sq. feet!) will be sectioned into different areas, the anchor being a restaurant featuring local and organic food. (Yes–another one…how will Boulder handle another restaurant based on this popular concept? Judging from favorites such as The Kitchen, Salt, Pinyon, Leaf, etc., it should fare pretty well.) The space will also feature a bar, lounge, juice bar, and private party/event area.
All I can say is…good luck to the Emich sisters! Make that (cursed?) space thrive!
