Located in a small, 30-seat space between Tahona and The Kitchen [Next Door], the upcoming Pearl Street Steak Room promises to be a cozy, executive eatery focusing on steak, other game meats, seasonal sides, and a modern wine selection (the menu will also change daily). It’ll almost be like a hidden gem, with a private parlor-like feel and lots of word-of-mouth marketing.
The brains behind this operation are Peter and Mara Soutiere, who are the current owners of neighboring Tahona and Sushi Tora. Both of these successful restaurants feature distinctive atmospheres and well-executed food, so–if vision and operating execution fall in line–we can expect the Pearl Street Steak Room to follow suit.
