New Diner Open at 29th Street

The space at 1750 29th street which has been vacant since Ruby’s Diner moved out in 2008 now has a new tenant, the StarLite Diner & Lounge. StarLite, owned by the folks who operate Boulder Creek Events, is a 1940s themed diner, featuring (you guessed it) classic shakes, burgers, and fries.   1. I hope they rock some uber-tasty grub; Ruby’s most definitely did not. It’s kind of quiet up there but it seems way too early to condemn that zone above the theater as a restaurant ghost town. Let’s hope not…
